OJAS (DIPLOMA IN YOGIC SCIENCE AND NATUROPATHY)

Ojas is created for the people who have interest in Ashatanga yoga and Naturopathy and wish to make their career in the field of Yoga and Naturopathy. Its aim is to produce trained and diligent Yoga trainers. It is a Diploma course of one year. This course provides knowledge about scientific aspects of yogic science and teaches the art of using this knowledge in naturopathy curing system. The students are given six month compulsory internship with a stipend of Rs.4000.00 per month.
All the male and female applicants having passed intermediate are eligible to apply for this course. There are ten classes organized in a week on the following pattern.

  • Practical class on Ashatanga yoga : Four days in a week
  • Theory class on Ashatanga yoga : Three days in a week
  • Training of Shatkarma : One day in a week
  • Physiology class : One day in a week
  • Naturopathy class : One day in a week

Besides these classes, four camps are also organized through the year to bring the student in close contact with Nature. Following activities are performed there-

  •  Ideal Daily routine.
  •  Regular Satsang.
  •  Diet purification & treatment through diet.
  •  Fast therapy.
  •  Shatkarama therapy (six purifications).
  •  Swar (Breath) therapy.
  •  Brief study of Nadi science.
  •  Natural daily routine.
  •  Silence training.
  •  Training of meditation and to enter the subtle world through  meditation.
