Duration: 1 year (theory & practical: 650 hrs. | project: 900 hrs.)
Minimum qualification: HSC (10th pass)
This one year (1550 hrs.) intensive yoga teaching program is designed for aspiring yoga teachers.
650 hours of theory covering major aspects of yoga.
900 hours of project work will enable students to get hands on experience in the field of Yoga. It will give exposure to different clinical cases and students will learn how to provide therapy and treat physical and mental issues through Yoga. This is the most important aspect of the course as it makes students job ready. Each student has to prepare a progress report and collect initial and final data of all patients treated by the student under the guidance of the faculty.
This course includes advance asanas and mudras, mulabandh, jalandhar bandh, neti, dhauti, kapalabhati, sankhaprakhyalana, nadisodhan, pranayam, tratak, meditation, kundalini jagarana, chakradarshan and chakrabhedan.
1. Introduction to yoga through comprehensive lectures.
2. Introduction to science of breathing (SWAR VIGYAN) through comprehensive lectures.
3. Practical training for simple ASANAS.
4. Practical training for advanced Asanas.
5. Practical training for ‘TRIBANDHA’ (udyan bandh, jalandhar bandh, mulabandh).
6. Practical training for ‘MUDRAS’.
7. Practical training for ‘SHATKARMA’.
8. Practical training for ‘Kundalini Jagaran’.
9. Practical training for ‘Chakrabhedan’ & ‘Chakradarshana.
